Beacon Health
Preventative care, designed for clarity.
A direct-pay primary care practice focused on preventative health and longevity. The brand needs to signal trust without defaulting to medical-blue, with accessibility floors maintained for at-risk patient demographics.
The brief
Beacon Health is a direct-pay clinic in the longevity-medicine space. The patient is paying out of pocket for a different relationship with primary care, and the brand has to read as considered rather than corporate. The mark has to work on clinic exterior signage at street scale, on embossed appointment cards in the patient-welcome pack, in the patient portal header at responsive web scale, on lab coat embroidery at four-color stitch maximum, and at favicon scale on the booking widget. Cliches to avoid: medical blue plus a generic cross or caduceus, the human-figure-with-arms-raised that signals every wellness app, and the literal lighthouse illustration that signals municipal harbor authority more than primary care.
Primary mark
Symbol only in Humanist sans
A symbol-only mark for a healthcare practice is unusual and that is the point. The mark is an abstract gesture evoking lighthouse-as-guidance, not a literal lighthouse: three radiating arcs from a central point, geometric rather than illustrative. Reference: One Medical, Forward, Parsley Health. The sage primary rejects medical blue without slipping into wellness pastel; the humanist sans wordmark register reads as a person rather than an institution.

Variant exploration
4 variants across the architectures.
Each variant takes a different position on architecture or register so the brand owner can see the choice clearly. The variants below would constitute the presentation set for review.
Application contexts
The mark in five application contexts.
A mark that does not survive its application contexts is not a contender. The renders below show the primary variant against each of the five surfaces this brand has to ship on.
Clinic exterior signage
Street-facing signage at storefront scale.
Appointment card emboss
Single-color blind emboss on cream stock.
Patient portal header
Responsive web header at desk and mobile widths.
Lab coat embroidery
Chest-pocket stitch at four-color maximum.

The deliverable
One variant, the nine-field spec.
This is the format the logo-design skill produces for every variant in a presentation set. The brand owner reads the spec, the mockup notes, the signals and rejects, and decides on the architecture before the production refinement begins.
