How this tool was built
Upgrade-flow-design skill in action. Distinguishes paywall-everywhere (gates everything aggressively, no value before paywall) from free-forever-trap (no upgrade path surfaces, users never convert) from value-triggered-upgrade (paywall surfaces at moments of demonstrated value). Tier surfaces the upgrade only when the user clicks a Pro feature, not on initial dashboard load: context is the discipline.
The upgrade-flow-design skill walks through the discipline that distinguishes paywall-everywhere and free-forever-trap from value-triggered-upgrade. Tier shows the dashboard before any prompt, lets the user explore, and only surfaces the upgrade panel after a click on a Pro-gated feature; the prompt then names that specific feature so the value framing matches the action that triggered it.
