Curve

Furniture that smiles back.

Curve is a small studio in Lisbon making chunky, curvy, candy-colored objects for rooms that take themselves a little less seriously. Every piece is hand-finished. Every piece has a name.

A single curvy candy-pink ceramic vessel on a cream pastel background with a soft shadow.

This season

Four new pieces, made in small runs.

Each curve is hand-pulled. Each glaze is mixed in the studio. We don't restock past the run. When it's gone, it's gone.

Color stories

Three rooms, three feelings.

Studio notes

On rounding the corners of everything.

Curve started in 2022 in a one-room studio above a bakery in Alfama. We were trying to design a side table that didn't feel like a side table. Three weeks of failed prototypes later, we landed on a chunky ceramic blob with a flat top.

The piece sold out in a Friday afternoon. We made another one. It sold out faster. By the third run we had a brand.

We still work in small runs. We still hand-finish each piece. We still name them after the feeling we hope they bring into the room. The pieces aren't for everyone, and they aren't trying to be.

Newsletter

First dibs on the next piece.

We send a note when a new piece goes up. About once a month. That's it. No discount codes, no urgency tactics.
